鍍膜玻璃是在玻璃表面涂鍍一層或多層金屬、合金或金屬化合物薄膜，以改變玻璃的光學性能，滿足某種特定要求。

鍍膜玻璃可分為以下幾類：熱反射玻璃、低輻射玻璃、導電膜玻璃等。熱反射玻璃一般是在玻璃表面鍍一層或多層諸如鉻、鈦、或不銹鋼等金屬或其化合物組成的薄膜，也稱為陽光控制玻璃；低輻射玻璃是在玻璃表面鍍由多層銀、銅、或錫等金屬或其化合物組成的薄膜系，具有良好的隔熱性能；導電膜玻璃是在玻璃表面涂敷氧化銦錫等導電薄膜。

   Coated glass is made of glass coated or plated with one layer or multi-layers of metal, alloy or metallic compound film, so as to change the optical property of glass, and to meet special requirement.

Coated glass can be divided into following types: Heat reflective glass, low emission glass (Low-E), conductive film glass etc.

Heat-reflecting glass is made usually of glass plated with one layer or multi-layers of metal or other compound films, such as:chromium,titanium or stainless steel etc. It is also called as sunlight control glass. Low emission glass is made of glass plated with multi-layers of metal or compound films, such as: silver, copper or tin etc., having good heat-insulating property. Conductive film glass is made of glass coated with tin indium oxide and other conductive films.
