夾膠玻璃是一種性能優良的安全玻璃，它是由兩片或多片玻璃用透明的聚乙烯醇縮丁醛(PVB)膠片牢固粘結而成，具有透明、高機械強度、耐光耐熱、耐寒、隔聲、控制陽光等性能。夾層玻璃以其韌性、彈性和粘結性而具有良好的抗沖擊性能和破碎時的安全性能。夾層玻璃因其使用功能的要求可以生產不同性能品種的夾層玻璃，如：遮陽和隔熱夾層玻璃、隔聲夾層玻璃、防彈夾層玻璃、防火夾層玻璃、防爆夾層玻璃、防盜夾層玻璃等等。
